Pre-Season Friendlies Finalised

Hythe Town FC have finalised their Pre-Season Friendly line-up for the 2011/12 season. Pre-Season kicks off for Scott Porter's side on Saturday 23rd July at a venue that provided one of our most memorable away days in recent memory, Concord Rangers, the Ryman Premier side we defeated last season en-route to the F.A. Cup 1st Round Proper! We then welcome back to Reachfields former Hythe Town FC Legend Tommy Warrilow and his newly promoted Blue Square South Tonbridge Angels side.

Next we make a midweek visit to the Homelands and a Ashford side following in our own footsteps reforming under the 'United' tag. They begin next season in the new Kent Invicta League, as they begin their climb back up the football pyramid after their unfortunate withdrawal from the Ryman South the season before last.

The theme of old friends continues, as on Saturday 6th August we host the side that we beat to the Kent League title by goal-difference, Herne Bay in the Kent League Challenge Shield. This is followed by a midweek visit to our closest neighbours from the Kent League, Deal Town, before we finish our preparations for our first season in the Ryman South with the visit of Ryman North side Romford.

Tuesday 2nd August - Ashford United v Hythe Town - Kick-off 7.45pm
Saturday 6th August - Hythe Town v Herne Bay - Kick-off 3pm (Kent League Challenge Shield)
Tuesday 9th August - Deal Town v Hythe Town - Kick-off 7.45pm
Saturday 13th August - Hythe Town v Romford - Kick-off 3pm
