2nd February 2008

It was a bit chilly but bright, all in all a perfect day for watching a football match.

The pitch looked good and it is a tidy ground. Overall, a very nice Kent League ground.

A bit pricey and late opening but the food was nice and it definitely looked like their right-back enjoyed the burgers!

Too many adverts, no pictures, no player profile, no secretary’s diary – do we need to say any more?

We weren’t surprised that Faversham scored first but we also weren’t worried as we thought it was just a case of how many we would get back. Personally, we wanted eight but were happy to settle for three. Luch had obviously got them up for it but that’s all they had and, in the end, they were no match for us. Overall, a good performance.

Pat Kingwell continues to impress and, as always, Sam and Gavin were outstanding at the back. But our man of the match goes to the quiet one on the team, Winnie – another quality performance.

We were expecting a bigger crowd and, as always, we seemed to fill half the ground..

Did quite well, didn’t buckle under immense pressure at times. No option but to send their player off.

Scott’s tete-a-tete with Strouts and Mum’s celebrations when the third goal went in!

None really, won again with a good performance.
