Danny Divine has joined us from Maidstone United on a month’s loan.
The 19-year-old defender Divine, joined Maidstone from Gillingham in the summer.

There have been two players who have departed Hythe Town over the last couple of days.
Adam Woollcott (pictured) and Liam Quinn have been released and we thank them for their short time at Reachfields and wish them all the best for the future.

Hythe Town are delighted to announce that new manager Steve Watt has appointed two new members of his backroom staff.
Nathan Elder joins us from Sittingbourne FC as the new Assistant Manager. Nathan has a wealth of experience in football being a player at Brentford, Shrewsbury Town, Dover Athletic and Tonbridge Angels amongst others. Since retiring from playing he has been assistant at Sittingbourne.
Paul Booth arrives at Reachfields as the new first team coach. Paul also has vast experience as a player at places such as Maidstone United where he also started his coaching career.
We welcome both Nathan and Paul to the club.
Hythe Town are delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Watt as First Team Manager. Steve has had an illustrious playing career starting at Chelsea where he played for the first team. He also represented Barnsley, Swansea City, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Ross County, Grimsby Town, Dover Athletic, Maidstone United and Hastings United.
He has had various managerial roles since retiring as a player, with the latest being at Margate where as manager he was close to qualifying for the play-offs to the National Conference South.
Chairman Paul Markland “We had many applicants for the role and many were stand out candidates. We are delighted to have secured the services of Steve Watt, an ambitious and experienced manager and football man who we believe will get our promotion push back on track.”
Steve Watt said, “I am excited to join an ambitious club who I believe has great potential for the future. I think that there are great days ahead for Hythe Town FC and I believe we can achieve our goals.”
Steve will be assembling his coaching team over the next few days and we will update you as we get more news.
Steve will take charge of the home Velocity Trophy game on Tuesday evening (10th September 2019) against Whitstable Town.
Following the heavy defeat at Faversham Town on Tuesday evening and a string of disappointing performances and losses the Board have to announce that Sam Denly has decided to resign his position as Manager of Hythe Town FC.
Sam has been a very popular and friendly face around Reachfields since his appointment in 2017 and none of us wanted this time to arrive.
Those wishing to be considered for the vacancy should forward their names in confidence to the Secretary by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org by 10pm on Friday September 6th. Shortlisted applicants will then be advised on Saturday and should then be able to attend an interview process at a designated local place and time on Sunday September 8th 2019.
Hythe Town are delighted to announce the signing of Aaron Simpson from Gillingham.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder was on loan at Margate the season before last and turned down a new contract at Priestfield this summer. He did play two EFL Trophy games for the first team at Gillingham.
He did play a couple of games for us in pre-season and has now decided his immediate future is at Reachfields.

Goalkeeper, Ryan Nicholls has signed for the new season from Dartford. Ryan spent a short time with us on loan from Dartford last season playing six games.
During his time with the Darts, Ryan had a number of loans periods including spells with Chatham Town, Hastings United, Aveley, Dartford, and Hollands & Blair.
Also, young keeper Alistair Carney has signed as cover for Ryan.
Hythe Town are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Alex Brown from Margate. Brown started his career at Gillingham. During that time, he had loan spells with Whitstable Town, Corby Town and Maidstone United. He was then to sign permanently with the Stones. He then went on loan to Leatherhead and made the move permanent in January 2016. He then joined Dartford before joining Margate at the start of last season.
Also, two of last season’s players, Tom Walmsley and Elliott Capel have committed to the club for next season.
Defender, Mitch Dickenson last night signed for National League South, Hemel Hempstead Town.
Mitch played 90 games for us over the last two years scoring three times.

Hythe Town are delighted to announce the latest signing for the new campaign as 28-year old experienced striker Luke Blewden has joined from Lewes for whom he had two spells and played 38 games last season.
He has also spent time twice with Tonbridge Angels and has also played for Crawley Down Gatwick, Folkestone Invicta and Sittingbourne in his early career.
The club can announce another player who has committed to the Cannons for 2019-2020 as central defender, Ben Fitchett has signed for the new season. Ben joins us from Margate with whom he came through the ranks. He also had a short spell with Erith Town.
He joins Frannie Collin (pictured with Secretary Martin Giles signing his forms for Hythe on Saturday afternoon), Chris Kinnear, Sid Sollis, Ryan Cooper, Charlie Webster, Ollie Rowe and Tom Carlton who have already committed for the new season.

The club are delighted to announce two more signings for the new season.
First experienced striker, Frannie Collin has joined us from Margate. He started his career with Gillingham where he made nine first team appearances before moving onto Dover Athletic. He has also had spells with Tonbridge Angels, Maidstone United, Leatherhead and Hastings United.
Also joining is former Cannon Ryan Cooper. A Left Back, Ryan comes to us from Canterbury City for whom he joined last season from Faversham Town. He started his career in the Dartford Academy. He then joined Leatherhead before he signed for Faversham Town. He was with us in season 2013-2014 when he played 29 games. He also had spells with Folkestone Invicta, Sittingbourne, and Maidstone United.
The club can announce that, following a successful loan period last season, a deal has been agreed with Margate FC for striker Sid Sollis to sign permanently for Hythe Town for the forthcoming season. Sid has had two spells with us on loan playing 38 times and scoring 13 goals.
We can also advise that coach Steve Nolan has left the club due to other commitments. Joining the management team is former Tonbridge Angels and Herne Bay player Lee Browning who was forced to retire from playing two years ago following a nasty head injury.
The club are delighted to confirm that four players have already committed to the club for next season.
Chris Kinnear, Ollie Rowe, Tom Carlton and Charlie Webster have all signed for season 2019/2020.
