Ashley Miller Signs On Loan

Hythe Town FC are delighted to announce the loan signing of eighteen-year old Gillingham striker Ashley Miller. Talking to Jack Wilson, Scott said - "He's fit and he's quick and he gives us something we haven't got. He's in the side to score goals as that's what our strikers haven't been doing. At the end of the day, the lad's a pro with a lot of talent. He can get in behind and cause team problems and that's what we need."

Ashley made his professional debut against Wycombe Wanderers in November 2010, at the age of sixteen. Shortly after his professional debut, he was scouted and then linked with a move to various Premier League sides, most strongly Liverpool, however a move never materialised.

He made his first start for Gillingham in March 2012 in a home game against Barnet, and scored his first senior goal in Gillingham's 4-3 defeat to Crewe Alexandra three days later. In October 2012 Ashley signed on loan for our Ryman South rivals Ramsgate, scoring the opening goal on his debut against Leatherhead in a 2-1 win. Ashley goes straight into the squad for Saturday's Ryman South fixture at Sittingbourne.

Welcome to the club Ashley!
