On Saturday night Hythe Town FC held their annual End of Season Presentation Evening, this year at the Hythe Imperial Hotel. It marked the end of a real rollercoaster of a season, the club going through a transitional year both on and off the pitch. Ultimately the lads did a brilliant job during the second half of the campaign to end the season on a real high. Farewell Tas, Welcome Dan
It is farewell to Taser Hassan, the popular winger has agreed to a move to fellow Ryman South side, Hastings United, following an approach from new Hastings manager, former Hythe Town player, Terry White.
Tas is one of several players who have recently opted for a fresh start away from Reachfields, as manager Scott Porter continues to rebuild his side after a difficult third season in the Ryman South division.

Richard has been in the squad on five occasions already this season after joining on a dual-registration from Kent Invicta side, Lydd Town.

Match Day Mascots - Hythe Town v Faversham Town
Thank you to our Matchday Mascots at the Faversham Town game, Aidan and Lucas Barber. Aidan is the oldest, he will be 11 on the 16th December, and plays for Hythe Stars and Stripes under 11's, and supports Chelsea, he loves watching Hythe and his favourite player is Dave Cook. Lucas is 9, also plays for Stars & Stripes and is also a Chelsea supporter! Lucas hasn't got a favourite player but just enjoys watching. We hope that both they and their family had a lovely day.

Hythe Town FC are delighted to confirm the signing of former Whitstable Town captain, James Morrish, and from Erith & Belvedere, attacker Louis Sprosen. James moved to Whitstable Town at the start of last season from Ryman Premier team AFC Hornchurch.
Prior to joining Hornchurch he spent several years at the Chelsea Academy, and also had a spell at Bethnal Green United before being spotted by Hornchurch. James made an impressive debut at Reachfields, in our 3-0 Ryman South win over Burgess Hill Town.

August Player Of The Month
It was an even busier first month than usual, given the earlier start to the season due to the additional teams in the division.
Scott has commented that it has been a somewhat up and down start to the season, with our best performances coming away from home.
The unanimous 'Man of the Match' last Saturday at Merstham has also gained the nod for the month as a whole, once everyone put their heads together.

Scott sees the midfielder and long-term target as a key signing, with fellow new signing Sam Bewick sidelined for the majority of the season with a knee injury.
