Hythe Town FC are delighted to announce the loan signing of Tommy Osborne, for one month, from last season's Ryman South Play-Off Winners, Maidstone United, now of the Ryman Premier.

The centre-back was unable to complete a full pre-season due to his recovery from a knee-injury, leading to Jay Saunders agreeing to loan the now fit centre-back to ourselves.

Tommy's first appearance in a Hythe shirt came last night, in the excellent 3-2 win at Faversham Town. Comfortably slotting in for the injured Craig Cloke, it appears this will be an arrangement that benefits all parties, as Hythe deal with a spate of early-season injuries.

Tommy joined the Stones in summer 2011, from Margate where he played for one full season. His career started at Gillingham before he moved to Hastings United where he spent four seasons.

Following this spell at the Pilot Field, Tommy then enjoyed six years with Dartford who he skippered to the Ryman League Division One North title. He then had spells at Cray Wanderers, Billericay Town and Thamesmead Town.

Welcome to the club Tommy!
